I have recently begun to question whether this with calories in and out is really true? I recently read about a guy (Sam Felthman, google him) that ate a ridiculous amount calories for 21 days and even though he went up 1.3kg he also reduced waist circumference by 3 cm. He did this on a low carb high fat diet. When he did the same with a standard diet (read crap diet) he gained a lot more, I can’t find the link now but I think it was something like 6-7kg with the same amount of calories. This makes me believe that what you eat affect your body more then the amount of calories. I would love to hear what your opinion is on this?
