It’s more complicated than you think Pictures Really good article, I love it. I have recently begun to question whether this with calories in and out is really true? I recently read about a guy (Sam Felthman, google him) that ate a ridiculous amount calories for 21 days and even though he went up 1.3kg he also reduced waist circumference by 3 cm. He did this on a low carb high fat diet. When he did the same with a standard diet (read crap diet) he gained a lot more, I can’t find the link now but I think it was something like 6-7kg with the same amount of calories. This makes me believe that what you eat affect your body more then the amount of calories. I would love to hear what your opinion is on this? Baranski M, et al. I'm also taking it one step further and giving up pop. I'm trying to be more healthy in general. I'm making more of my own food more than ever now–such as homemade pizza rolls instead of store bought–and trying to eat better that way. The extra time and planning is so worth it!
