Our Blogs Another great, no-nonsense article! Sticking to the “super lifestyle” principles is the ONLY thing that’s ever truly worked for me. People love to hear a success story and are eager to hear the easy trick or convenient tip that changed everything. I have found that most people leave disappointed and frustrated when you tell them “you have to create a deficit and count your calories”, or “you must be consistent and make a lifestyle change”. I believe the problem is a lack of discipline. Until a person is completely tired of where they’re at, they will not change.

These higher omega-3 fatty acids are found in organic meats, dairy and eggs.
You know… the typical terrible diet many overweight and/or unhealthy people have. One that involves eating an excessive amount of calories (aka a caloric surplus… the sole cause of fat gain), excessive amounts of sugar (in the form of soda, cookies, candy, pastries, etc.), excessive amounts of sodium (coming via fast food, chips, etc.), excessive amounts of alcohol, lacking in fruits and vegetables, and on and on and on.

Guide to beans and legumes 1) The vast proportion of chemicals that humans are exposed to occur naturally. Nevertheless, the public tends to view chemicals as only synthetic and to think of synthetic chemicals as toxic despite the fact that every natural chemical is also toxic at some dose. The daily average exposure of Americans to burnt material in the diet is ~2000 mg, and exposure to natural pesticides (the chemicals that plants produce to defend themselves) is ~1500 mg. In comparison, the total daily exposure to all synthetic pesticide residues combined is ~0.09 mg. Thus, we estimate that 99.99% of the pesticides humans ingest are natural. Despite this enormously greater exposure to natural chemicals, 79% (378 out of 479) of the chemicals tested for carcinogenicity in both rats and mice are synthetic (that is, do not occur naturally).
